I wonder whether there’s HP fics where phoenixes are actually shapeshifters that can take human form and Fawkes gets shipped with Dumbledore

Like, beyond Grindelwald I don’t think I’ve seen anything about Dumbledore forming possible romantic attachments (which is fine, not everyone feels that need, but still) and it would just be really funny and also satisfying to me if his pet bird was actually a person he was shacking up with

“Really, Fawkes, this is getting quite inappropriate,” a very old Dumbledore tells Fawkes, who (at the moment) is a gorgeous man of twenty-five trying to seduce him. 

“I thought you liked me at any age, Albus?”

“Well, I have preferences. For instance, you’re cuter before you master the power of speech.”

(cue an offended bird-man)

This is a ridiculous idea of course but I just like the idea of Dumbledore having someone he’s actually sharing his life with beyond The Mission, even if it’s a bird. Maybe especially if it’s a bird. Dumbledore shacking up with a bird is hilarious.
